  1. New Testimonies From the Algerian Group — Over 500 Members

Sources report that ADPI was largely inactive in public rallies since 2021, until a group of approximately 500 Algerian asylum seekers joined the campaign in 2025.

The Algerian members were invited to participate in ADPI’s efforts to:

  • End the Direct Provision system
  • Secure amnesty for members

Their participation revitalized ADPI, leading to the first active rally in years. The group provided organizational support, significantly boosting the campaign’s visibility.

  1. Initial Concerns — Project Mismanagement and Questioning Leadership

After six months of activity, members began raising questions about the management of the project.

One main concern was that Owen publicly posted rally locations on Facebook. According to sources:

  • This exposed the events to potential interference by far-right groups
  • Politicians had advised keeping numbers low for safety, but numbers were increased publicly, raising questions about whether the goal was activism or increasing donation and membership fee revenue

Members describe these questions as simple and legitimate, yet they were met with accusations of being “rebels” and a “gang” by Owen, leading to internal tension.

  1. Membership Fees and Donations Sent to Private Accounts

According to testimonies:

  • Members were required to pay €20 joining fees, in addition to ongoing donations
  • Funds were reportedly not deposited into an official bank account in Ireland
  • Instead, donations went to a private Belgian account via Wise, reportedly linked to Owen Keenth Chance

Members have not received financial statements or any formal reporting on how funds were spent.

  1. Amnesty Project Reduced from 1500 to Under 1000

The official ADPI channels later announced that the Amnesty 2.0 project was reduced from 1,500 members to under 1,000.

Sources say this decision followed internal scrutiny, allegations of donation misuse, and rising concerns among participants.

  1. Mass Removal of Algerian Members

After raising questions, 95% of the Algerian team were removed from the ADPI group, according to sources.

A screenshot shows Naomi Landman removing active members who asked about legal or financial transparency, despite their ongoing commitment to the campaign.
