Who We Are

Our Mission

Asylum Seekers for Justice Ireland is an independent, grassroots movement led by residents of the international protection system. Our strength lies in our lived experience; we are not outside observers, but active participants in the struggle for dignity. We operate independently of NGOs and state influence to ensure that the reality of the asylum process in Ireland is told accurately and without compromise. We are not an NGO, nor are we a government-funded entity.

What We Do

  • Field Documentation Providing raw, unedited reports and facts regarding the living conditions and treatment within IPAS centers.
  • Amplifying Voices Creating a secure space for asylum seekers to demand justice and dignity without external mediation or censorship.
  • Exposing Profit-Driven Systems Shedding light on the private entities profiting from the displacement and suffering of people seeking safety.

How You Can Support Us

As a self-led initiative, our greatest strength is the community around us. You can support our cause through:

  1. Sharing Our Truth: Amplify our reports and articles to reach a wider audience and break the silence.
  2. Providing Information: If you have documented evidence or stories from within the system, share them with us securely.
  3. Financial Solidarity: Support the maintenance of this platform and our ongoing documentation efforts.
